Username and password

When iam setting up a vpn connection, i specify the IP address of VPN router,and when i try to connect it prompts me for username and password.

What is this username and password?

Did you set up your VPN properties in the router?

In the settings in the router setup your VPN group and users or atleast the group settings and create a password.
