I have a NT 4.0 Workstation SP6a machine that gets a User32.dll error every time the screensaver should display. I have adjusted the time setting and also selected many different screensavers but the user gets the error every time. All he has to do is click "OK" and the PC keeps running fine. Besides turning off the screensaver (not an option in my office) does anyone have any suggestions.

Thank you mcconmw!! The link you gave me did the trick.

that article says increase yyyy by 256. I think it's a type after checking my registry. I think it should have said, increase zzzz by 256. Hence the updated info in the sharedSection should look like this (for example):-

Original SharedSection
SharedSection=1024,3072

New & Updated SharedSection
SharedSection=1024,3072,1024

Please let me know if this is correct. Thank you.
