User want to use mail Porgram other than Outlook

A user want to use "Incredimail" to send e-mails and receive e-mails.

It has the POP3 and SMTP boxes, not an Exchange option.
We managed to get the POP3 working by going directly to the POP3 on the WEB site. but the SMTP is still a mystery. Which is mail.xxxxx.com. They do not offer SMTP so we had to use something else to send out the e-mail. In Exchange it is just and asterisk *

How can I specify that SMTP uses the default connection on the network?

The Internet server running proxy server is called \\INTERNETSERVER
The Exchange Servers name is \\SMALLBSERVER

if you computer name is
SMALLBSERVER

your web ip is something like 64.215.64.134
your domain address for this server is

http://www.mySMALLBSERVER.com

then you can have if using exchange 5.5 or 2000
use outlook web access "owa"
for web based email like

http://www.mySMALLBSERVER.com/exchange/usa

for pop3 mail.mySMALLBSERVER.com
or 64.215.64.134

ask your administrator for help
try using just the ip address or post more info.
just try to sit it up from the user end or admin for the users?
