Hello,

We have three IP office 500s networked as SCN. We just swapped out main IP 500 V2 control unit that has the centralized voice mail pro. We were being proactive because weird things were beginning to happen and the control unit was a PCS 05. After the swap the the remote sites voice mail boxes reverted to the system greeting. The recorded greeting is still in the greetings folder. Has this happen to anyone before? Is there a quick fix? Is there a way to activate the greeting through the Intuity.txt folder? I've changed the greeting #1 from 0 to 32, but that didn't work.

Mailboxes are based on the user name so simply replacing the CCU should have had no effect - assuming you restored the backup cfg & did not reprogram.

The simplest fix ow is probably to simply re-record the greetings - it will certainly be the easiest & probably quickest.

What were the "wierd things", I very much doubt that they were due to a faulty IP500?

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
