Hi

We have migrated to server 2003, and users cannot now change their passwords, have checked permissions and active directory, can anyone advise.

password complexity is enabled by default so it is not that they cannot change passwords but are probably not conforming to the default complexity.
Try cahnging a password to P@ssw0rd. Does that work. I suspect it will. To change your password complexity look at the domain or domain controller security policies

Hi

Thanks but have tried that, whenever the user chabges the password, we get the info box that this password does not meet the password compexity requirements etc, have checked that the passwords do but still get this message.

goto the domain security policy on the administrative tools
goto account policies and password policy
define your password policy here
run gpupdate /force command
You may need to reboot for them to take affect and in some situations reboot twice and it has kicked in.
