Hi, when I expand a distribution list in Outlook 2003, one of the recipients is Roger$. There is no Roger userid, mailbox or email address in the domain. I have right clicked on it and gone to properties but under Email Addresses there is nothing. Under Member of is the distribution group name.

If I go into Active Directory I cant see him anywhere including in the list of Members of the Distribution list. Using Exchange 2003 on Windows Server 2003.

Any ideas on how I can lose Roger$ from the distribution list as people keep asking who he is?

Check to see if you have computer named Roger. Usually in an AD environment a $ after an account represents a computer account and computer account is nothing but a glorified user.
