When I right click on different volumes in NWAdmin, User Space Limits is not listed in the Details on some volumes -nor is it availabe under Page Options. Any idea why not and how I can get it? Thanks.

Barry

Hi,

you are looking in the wrong place. In Nwadmin right click on the actual volume name, not the directory, then choose details. From the options on the right choose User Space Limits. Select the part or whole of the tree you wish to examine and optionaly include all subs and you will see what every user has either used, not used, has restrictions or not etc.

Hope this is what you're looking for.

Hi Jeff:

Thanks for the response, but that's not my problem. I'm looking in the right place, but I'm thinking my problem has to do with NSS volumes. A co-worker told me that you can not use NWADMIN to view User Space Limits on NSS volumes - that you have to use Console One instead. I haven't confirmed this for sure yet, but it makes sense.

I believe your colleague is correct. After a little investigation it would appear that space restrictions are not support (yet) under NSS volumes. Console one doesnt appear to have this feature either.
