Here is my problem:

We are implementing user security and I have a clerk that only needs access to time tracking and invoicing. I gave her the correct rights(full to time tracking and edit to invoicing), or so I thought but now she can not print invoices.

How do I assign printing invoice rights?

thanks.

Just a guess here, but edit is probably not sufficient. The user is probably invoicing the customer and is thus creating new invoices, so edit is not enough rights.

I do not want the clerk to be able to "delete" invoices. Wouldn't full control allow that?

Yes.

And the clerk must be able to delete invoices. Thats what AR clerks do. When you grant similar priveledges to the Purchasing person, you had better give them full control over POs as well.

One question though. How are you granting or denying this access? There is only one directory -- the company directory - where all the .dat files are -- for each peachtree company. Are you giving them different rights on each individual .dat file? Or is this something you are doing in Peachtree independent of windows?
