I have just installed some win2000 PC's with office 2000 and other software. Whenever ordinary users try to use microsoft photoeditor it says "No file format information can be found in the registry". However it works perfectly when administrators logged on. We are having similar problems with other software eg. Microsoft greeting workshop.

What group rights do these users have? Power User?

Yep, here is the fix:

Use regedt32.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools

Use Security menu\Permissions\User\Full control
