For some reason any time a user on thinclient hardware has a file open it reads as File Open by Administrator.

So the only way for me to find out who has it open is to go to the server that the file resides on and check under open files.

Why is this happening and how can I get it to show what user has the file open?

Hi,

Is this with Microsoft Office? If so, try altering the User Name/Initials within Office, they might be set to Administrator.

If this is the case, you might need to ask all users to alter this setting.

If not, give us more information about your environment and the programs giving you these error messages.
