I have been receiving user profile issues / corruption with our Windows 2000 Terminal Servers. This "profile" issue is occurring as the user hive is not unloading at user logoff thus leaving a corrupt ntuser.dat file. Something with Symantec Antivirus 10.1 is causing this interference. I laoded the SAV updatesm so I am on build 10.1.4.4000 / 10.1.4.401. Also, I loaded UPHClean, however it has not solved the problem. Has anyone seen this or have any suggestions?

Bartman - we are seeing this problem as well. We are experiencing about 20 corrupt profiles a day. The ntuser.dat gets corrupted - typically 68-72 kb in size.

We are running Windows 2000 Server (with terminal services) in a lab environment. A couple thousand accounts - so it's only hitting a small percentage each day, but is driving us crazy. We have tried many different things to debug problem.

You mentioned that SAV was causing interference? How did you no this? Have you had any luck resolving this problem.
