For lab purposes only I want to disable the required password standard when creating a user account in windows 2003 domain. So if I want the password pass or blank how can I change windows to accept this.

Using Group Policy manager, I would just change the options to what you want them to be under: Computer / Windows / Security / Account Policies / Password Policy. If you plan to do this on a wide base that would be the way I went - otherwise, you should just be able to use AD Users & Computers as admin. and set the users password to be whatever you wanted it to be...Hope this helps...

I went into password policy and adjusted the settings and it is still coming up "you do not meet the password policy requirements bla bla bla" any other suggestions, Thanks...

From what I remeber, this has to be set at the domain level, not at the OU level. Where did you go in and change the setting?

I did both...infact the OU level was set at not defined for everything...and Domain level is where the policies were set and for some reason, whn trying to setup a user account it was still asking for a unique password...
