I have logged in as local admin on the XP PC, unplugged the network cable. Tried deleting the folder but I am getting access denied error message. I took the ownership of the profile but still the same issue.

Any idea what else I can do to delete it?

Thanks in advance

Are you just trying to delete the folder from C:\Documents and Settings\%username%? Have you tried removing the profile by going to Control Panel> System> select the Advanced Tab> click Settings under User Profiles> find the profile and select delete?

I checked that but those 2 profiles are not showing there.
