Hi,

do user licenses like Office Worker, Power User, mobile user work under essential edition?

I have release 8.1

Thus, would One-X Portal work under essential license?

Am a bit confused from Avaya documents re this.

No user licenses require preferred edition from 8.0 and up
The only exception is that you can have four remote workers without preferred.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

With the addition of some important punctuation.

"No, user licenses require preferred edition from 8.0 and up"

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Also another caveat, but a good one (depending how you look at it), if it's running a virtual essesntial licence as oppose to a bought one it will allow user licences without preferred :)

Interesting. But to be using a virtual essential license this come sup automatically if you upgrade from a lower version right?

In short there is no way I can order a virtual essential license?!! heh : )

That would make it a much easier sale than it currently is
