I am using VFP 6.0 and am trying to change the colour of the border around a USER defined window. It remains blue like the system window. Even using a colour scheme doesn't make any difference. Is there any way of changing the border colour?

COLOR SCHEME is a leftover from FoxPro/DOS and hasn't had any meaning since FoxPro/Windows was released. Hopefully you're NOT trying to use DEFINE WINDOW, which is a leftover from FP 2.x and shouldn't really be used in VFP.

Window title bar colors are actually controlled by settings in Windows Control Panel, and any good Windows application should conform to those settings.

As Dan has indicated above the concept of USER defined window went away once Foxpro became Visual.

Instead you design/develop a VFP Form which has objects in it such as a Grid in which to display records which you can then work at defining the Properties.

If you are using VFP6, then I'd recommend that you leave the old non-Visual Foxpro approaches behind and work with the VFP methodologies.

Good Luck,

Thanks for your replies. I was trying to combine something from the old FoxPro with VFP. I'll do as you suggest.
