I have created a simple Active X control which acts more or less like a calendar, of course with a number of other functionalities. This component works fine on the machine I coded it on. I created the deployment package and installed the application (which uses the Active X control) on another PC. The component started to act funny.

The OCX was copied (by the installation disks) in the c:\winnt\system directory alright. I'm not sure if it really matters, but the processor that I have installed the application on is an AMD while the one I coded it on was an Intel.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be

Thanks in advance

it is not clear what problem you encountered. please clarify the behaviour of the OCX when installed on the target machine.
