I have an NT WrkStn 4 that has a user profile active and an admin profile that has also be active. The station no longer connects to the network. In the network neighborhood I can see the entire network through the users profile;(i can see the services installed and protocols etc.) but when I log in as the Admin I cannot see the network and 0 protocols and services are showing. The User's account has been locked down so that they cannot change or modify the services or bindings or protocols.
Why can I see everything through the user profile and see nothing through the admin profile. I cant add anything (protocols, services) as the admin either. It says the services and protocols are already installed.
Do i need to reinstall NT? [sig][/sig]

When you log on with the Admin acct do you log in locally or on a domain ? Most likely locally. If that is the case you can go to user manages and create a new acct with all kinds of admin rights. Then once created try using that o make your changes. Are you an admin or an end-user or is this a home PC ? [sig][/sig]
