User Activity Log Settings in BO Administrator

We are facing aproblem with the user activity log settings in BO Services Administrator (BO 5.1.6, Webi 2.6). If in the View Log tab we set the option to "Log to database", it automatically changes to "Log to file" whenever the Webi services are restarted. Is there any way to prevent this?

Once you set it to Log to DB did you check if the Connection is set properly to the Appropriate DB.

No problem with the connection. Everthing works fine until the Webi services are restarted as i stated in my original posting. any other ideas?
