When I got my computer a couple of years ago I never created a user account for myself, it was just "Administor".

I read that is was not a good for security.

So i created a new user called "David". Then my Administor account that I had setup perfectly was now gone.

I found all my files just fine, but now all my programs I have loaded need to be reconfigured again. Is there anyway i can copy something from my old admin account to the new account so i can get back in to my old programs again?

Is David an Administrator? If he isn't make him one, and then create another Limited User Account and use that for things like surfing the internet and the mundane daily running of tasks.

Wow, thanks - that worked and saved me a bunch of time.
