The VP of our network is calling me every 10 minutes and I can't figure this out.

No matter how I create he new account (after deleting it earlier) it doesn't work correctly. I need to setup an account with KELLY KANTZ. Using the user template it creates an email account of kelly@domain.com, however it's listed in AD and users and all of the settings in the User properties are correct but no email.

If I setup any other new account, all is fine.

Could there be a problem since I've created and deleted the same account or name "kelly" or "kantz" so many times trying to correct the problem that it could be stored somewhere or ... . Hell I don't know, but I know I desperately need this forums help to het this fixed.

After you delete the account, you need to go into the exchange admin and purge the mailbox. You probably already know this, but... Open the Exchange System Manager, drill down to your server, expand the storage group, and then Store, then right click the Mailboxes folder and "Run cleanup agent" - now that you've recreated it a dozen times, you may need to delete it once more, PURGE THE MAILBOX, then recreate.

Then, you'll probably left with the initial problem of why her email "doesn't work correctly" - like the sniper said above, need to be a little more specific as to what part of it isn't working. Can't receive email, can't send, can't open it, can't spell it (just kidding).

Tell us more and we'll help!

snoot: After purging the email everythign worked fine. Thank you very much. The problem is I'm a Linux developer. I work a large TV network that seems to think since you can develop software you know everything their is to know about a computer. So they put me in charge of this server and It's a bit more complex than WinNT which was the last time I ran a network.

So... I just want to say thank you to this forum and it's users for the (day today) help.
