I am using Crystal Reports 8.0. I tried to use stored procedure (MS SQL2000). I checked the File/Options/Database/Stored Procedure. I created a simple SP just returns 100 records. I added the SP just like I add a table to the report. I could see the SP's returning columns in the Visual Linking Expert(meta data got through). I could see the columns in the Select Expert and other windows as long as only regarding to meta data. However, when I click the refresh button, I got "Physical Data Not Found" error. If I click the Database/Verify Database, it said "The database is up to date". Then I got the "Physical Data Not Found" message right after that.
When I saved the report , it prompted if I need to save. I cliked Yes. It asked "The saved data is incomplete. Generate the data to save?". I cliked "Yes". After I closed the report and reloaded it in the Crystal Reports, the first time, it showed the result. But when I hit refresh button, I got the same "Physical Data Not Found" error again.
Is this a bug with Crystal Report 8.0 ? Please advice. Thank you!
