Is it possible to use a single ADSL line to connect 2 computers via proxy?

Here in our company we want to use the BTopenword Broadband for £39.99 (single computer) and use a proxy to use two computers. We called the hotline, there they told us that this is not possible.

Is that true, if yes why? After all I can use a single telephone line to connect two computers to the internet with a proxy.

ps: what is the difference betw. xDSL and ADSL?

you can use a proxy server if you have a adsl router and or
a static dsl modem. Jeter@LasVegas.com

This is VERY easy to set up. I have four PC's connected. Response times are more than adequate.
