Hi,

I’m using PERL to automate the uploading of files to a server using FTP.

What I need to do is modify a line in a text file to update the name of the target folder by adding today’s date to the folder name.

I can generate the correct folder name, but I’ve had no luck updating the contents of the file.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Pete.

Can we see your code or is this going to be a guessing game? [wink]

Thanks for the reply Kevin,

It looks like NET::ftp will make it easier for me to do this.

Now I've just got to figure out NET::ftp ;)

Peter.
