Use of NetBios?

Hello all

Can someone tell me if its better to use NetBios on a Windows 2003 Domain with Exchange 2003 and if yes what are the advantages and the disadvantages and if possible what do you propose to do? Use NetBios Or Not?

netBIOS will not do any good as far as Exchange and Active Directory goes. And, unless your entire network is one big broadcast domain then netBIOS will not even resolve between routers or VLANS.

You must use DNS with AD and Exchange.
