I am using a Linksys 2.0 KVM switch for an SCO Openserver 5.06 and a Windows Proxy machine. The graphics TTY on the Openserver are unclickable and fickle to the point of unusability. Openserver is installed on an HP NetServer E 800, and I am using an HP mouse, compaq presario keyboard and CTX monitor. I suspect that I am going to have to try using different keyboard, mouse, and screen to see if the problem lies there. Has anyone encountered problems with SCO Openserver or know what periferals that they are finicky about? JH

Xwindows and KVM switches don't like each other.
When you switch from your windoze machine to the xwindows (opendesktop) you need to reinitialize your mouse. the easiest way i have found is to ctrl-alt-f1 then ctrl-alt-f7

When I left the Windows machine, and switched back to the SCO Openserver, I switched from TTY01 and TTY07 as you suggested. Unfortunately, it did not help. Thank you for responding.

If you are using an IntelliMouse compatible mouse, the problem could be the KVM switch, as a lot of them don't suppert IntelliMouse. Try an old fasion LogiTech mouse and everything will probably work.
