Does anyone know what I would need to connect my Palm VIIx to my Motorola v60i cell phone, to use it as a wireless modem? I can find v60i USB cables, but my Palm has the older serial connection. Would it work if I just bought a USB cable to connect to the phone, then use a Palm USB converter to convert the serial end to USB somehow? Not sure if a driver would have to be involved. Thanks!

I don't think you'll have much luck with a serial-to-usb adapter connecting to your cell phone to your Palm (of course their are products that I'm not aware of :)

Most of the people I know that are connecting phones to PDA's are using either infrared or bluetooth. Bluetooth phones are still expensive to come by, but mobiles with infrared aren't. Of course, by the time you're done messing around with all of this, you'd probably have saved money (in time spent) just buying a new Palm phone... and be happier with it.

Good luck!
