Use all handsets for notification? 1

Morning Guys,

Do you know if it is possible to use the Avaya IPO 500 with 5420 handsets to broadcast an announcement?

Basically, what we want to do is to allow one person, to pick up their telephone, and make an announcement to EVERYONE, which automatically plays through the loud speaker.

I haven't a clue where to even begin!

Make a group with everyone in (unless you already have one) then create a button or shortcode with feature "Dial Paging" and target the group...job done

AFAIK there are no free training courses & that includes Tek_Tips!

I will however give 2 pieces of advise free of charge.

1) read the help files.
2) if you try to do things on the cheap it will cost you both time and money
