I am currently using the version of Crystal Reports included with Visual Basic .NET and would like to use a delimited text file as the data source. Is there any way that I can do this and grab each of the different fields, or do I have to use each line as one large field and just use formulas to break that line up into smaller fields?

Use a TEXT ODBC driver (e.g., Microsoft Text Driver (*.txt; *.csv)

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Is this something that is included in Crystal Reports or something extra that I need to install?

Thanks

It's already on your PC. Just create a new ODBC data source using:

START, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Data Sources (ODBC).
