Use 1841 in Bridge as Firewall

Hi!

I have a spare 1841 lying around...Is it possible to bridge the two interfaces together and use the firewall in between them for some basic filtering between a potentially malicious server that has to be on the same subnet as the rest of the LAN...eg

server NIC --->FE0/0 on 1841 --> Firewall --> FE0/1 on 1841 --> Cisco 3750 switch interface

Voltron1011, great article! but do you think the firewall could be put into the bridge group? or does the firewall require IP packets to be routed?

I may have to use a PIX 501 with Pix IOS 7.0+ to have ethe Layer 2 firewall.....hmmmm.....

Any Thoughts?
