Need help. USB30 unit is set to back-up automatically on a daily basis. Even though I've selected that the unit should use whatever tape is in the unit, I get a message that the USB30 unit is asking for a specific tape. Cannot get the dialog box to close until I reboot system. This message pops up on my screen everyday at 12:00 Noon regardless of what time I've scheduled the back-up. I've checked everything in the schedule and can't figure out what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the echo schedules you can set it up to backup to whatever tape is in the drive or to a specific tape. if you have it configured to any tape and it's asking for a specific tape it may be a problem with either the software or the drivers. try uninstalling and reinstalling the software, and verify the drivers loaded for the device are manufactured by 1Vision.

I did have my scheduler configured to take "any tape" and still had the same problem. I still have the software so I can reintall that, but where can I obtain the 1Vision driver since Onstream is kapoot?

gwootton - good news...I uninstalled the software and then reinstalled it as well as the 1Vision driver. All seemed fine today at 12:00 Noon. Anxious to see what tomorrow brings...crossing my fingers. Thanks for your help!!! Jacaly
