Since I'm very concerned now about what Paparazi said as written below. I have the manual right here and there is 1 pin missing alright. From the manual though I still don't know which pin is the Black ground and the Red to plug into.
The First 4 pins when laying the case down on the bottom is only has the 3 pins and the one pin is missing then it has all 4 pins. I'm afraif of burning the USB on the motherboard now.

As USB is a LIVE powered port it is extremely important that you fit these connectors correctly, failure to do so will nearly always burn out the USB on the motherboard.

Tell me the make and model number again and I will try to find out.

Found it! Asus A7N8X
OK your USB header is pretty simple and is the common type:

looking at the header with the motherboard mounted in the case and standing upright.

Pin 1 is bottom left with an upper and lower set of pins
The lower set has only 4 pins the upper row has 5

All the front panel wires marked with the number 1 go on one line of pins
Those maked with 2 go on the the other row

The last pin on the top row (top right) isn't used

It looks like this:
I include the common colour codes (note common) but not always.

red white green black pin not used
VCC1 Data minus1 Data plus2 ground2

red white green black no pin
VCC2 Data minus2 Date plus2 ground2
PIN1

VCC may say +5volts

Now to your front side bus jumper:
This 3 pin jumper is positioned just left of the northbridge chip on the motherboard, 2 inches below the CPU socket.
Top pin is number 1 as you look at it.
Pins 1 and 2 need bridging for all AMD XP's CPU's
Thats All 266/333 and 400 fsb CPU's
When pins 2 and 3 are bridged thats for 200fsb Durons and Early Thunderbird Athlons.
