USB External ZIP Drive WinXP compatible

I use IOMEGA usb external zip drive that is working ok under win98se.Under WinXP works but i notice that sometimes causes reboots and as a friend told me his computer may doesn't complete start operation when zip is connected.Is there any known problem of Zip Drives with WinXP???
