Hi,

WE have a mixed Windows/Novell network and as a result our network drives start at F:

We have a problem using USB memory sticks as they always want to assign themselves to the F: drive even though all PC's have E: drive spare.

Although this works quite well as a security feature I would like to be able to automatically set what drive letter to use via AD if possible rather than having to connect to the PC and assign a letter manually through Disk Management.

Has anyone else managed to do this?

Cheers

Lee

No - I have always done it in the oposing direction - reassign network drives to different letters. I don't know Novell - is this possible?
