Hi, I have a usb flash drive, which used to work on my computer, but now it doesn't.

It does work in other desktop/laptops without an issue.

When i insert the drive it appears though XP is going to display the new drive in the MY Computer, but only display the B: 3½ Floppy drive, and the main part of the usb drive is not display.

Is there any setting i could change earse/alter to make this work....

It also seems like other usb flash drives do not work either....

many thanks for any help in advance.

I do not understand what you mean by the "main part of the USB"

Try checking in Disk Management and see what drive letters are allocated

Regards

Have you tried inserting it into a different USB port on that computer? - or inserting any USB flash disk into that computer?

it seemed my usb drive wanted to use drive letter g, but i had a mapped drive using that, so i changed it.

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction
