Hi all,

Has anyone ever heard of/has any knowledge of/using one of these>> Dual Mode Digital Quad - RFD-QUAD. model is dqp-a4

Basically it is a usb appliance that u can hook up to 4 cctv cameras as a security for your home/business and uses your HD to store recordings digitally.

The problem I have is that both PC's I have (cel 466, 192mb on Win 98se, and 700 cyrix, 192 ram on ME) only recognise it as unknown device.

Both have been wiped and OS reinstalled, drivers for Quad installed b4 plugging in usb as per manufacturer instructions....

Please if anyone has any info please post asap..

Many Thanks

Hi, thnx for the post

I should point out that both pc's have had it running in the past...

also while the specs are lowish, they are above the min spec but only below preferred specs... but no doubt it is an issue to look at.... I am currently upgrading the ME machine so with a bit of luck it will help...

Thnx again
