I have a Kingston Data Traveler which every time I connect to my computer Blue Screens. The device is USB 2.0 which my computer isn't. I know the device is good because I can use it on other machine without issue. I've tried removing the USB hub and reinstalling. Still nothing
Thanks Steve

Maybe something here will help you?

No USB 2 in XP SP1

OK I did install KB822603 with the same results. As for the Blue Screen I'm getting Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area
Stop: 0X00000050 (0xFFFFFFE8,0X00000001,0X80515FF4,0X00000000)

The Stop 0x50 message indicates that requested data was not in memory. The system generates an exception error when using a reference to an invalid system memory address. Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM) or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause Stop 0x50 messages."

BTW your gadget should work with no problem even without the fix, at lower speed of course...

(I know it doesn't really solve your problem...)

Use this as an example as to why you may be blue screening.

817197 - Error Message: STOP 0x00000050 (0xffffffe0, 0x00000001, 0xf30da010, 0x00000000) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

See if these give you any clues.
