Hi guys.

I found this USB Hub on Craigslist, but the guy selling it doesn't know much about it.

Has anyone ever seen it before? Is it a USB 2.0?

Here's the link to the pic of it:

Any help would be appreciated, but if ya don't know - no big deal!

Thanks guys.

I think this is the one. The one from yourt Pic is blue, but it looks almost the same to this one. According to Amazon it is 2.0 but that blue one might not be. in any case take a look:

Ignorance is not necessarily Bliss, case in point:
Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

It is USB 2.0 if you connect it to a USB 2.0 port.

Note that it is unpowered, so keep your device power requirements in mind.

Hi guys! Thanks.

What do you mean, unpowered? Like, if it is hooked up to my PC, will it work? If you could elaborate that'd be great!

Thanks.

Hubs come unpowered and powered.
The powered ones get electrical power from a transformer plugged into the wall outlets.

The unpowered ones depend on the limited power available from the USB port itself.

There are limits to the power drain permitted on an USB port. You would not, for example, use this unpowered hub to connect a hard drive that had no other source of power. Connecting on printer may exhaust the power available for all four ports of this hub.

Start, Run, devmgmt.msc (to bring up Device Manager)
Expand your Universal Serial Bus Controler list at the bottom.
Right click on any Hub entry. There is a tab for Power. With unpowered hubs you need to watch that entry to be sure the maximum power per port value is not exceeded. If it is, XP will stop the port:
