I would contact BOBJ support to confirm, but based on my use of WinAD SSO on BOE-XI (R2) - I think that SSO only works for a URL connection to the specific page for default InfoView access.

When you are using an embedded URL link to a specific instance, you never hit that default InfoView page - therefore you get the login prompt.

There may be a modification you can make directly to the code for the "viewer.csp" page - but I don't have any more specific info to provide at this time....

In my experience with URL report hyperlinking I have had to pass the username and password with the hyperlink (in clear text!) to get "seamless" report linking to work.

Try this syntax - we use SSO and it works for us....

& CrystalReportID & "&lsSReportID=" & ReportID & "&sOutputFormat=" & OutputFormat & "

where:

iDocId is the ID assigned by BO software

lsSReportID is optional. Single parameter used by the pgm.

sOutputFormat is the format document is to be displayed (P=pdf, E=excel, H=HTML) - so as an example:

I hope this helps you!
