urgent symantec av corp 8.1 installation error

Hi
I am trying to install SAV corporate edition 8.1 on an NT4 server, I get to the point of copying files which gets to 100% then i get the error "cannot get disk information from winnt35\ixp000.tmp system message access denied.

The system folder is called winnt35 on this server for some reason.

Anybody got any ideas how to fix this

everyone has full control to program files and winnt35 folder

It looks like it is trying to get information from the ixp000.tmp folder. Does it exist within WINNT35?
