urgent: section suppression using true/false flags

hi,

I have the following design:

RH a thru d

PH a ----> needs to be shown only in details section BUT suppressed in GH 1a, 1b and 1c
PH b ---->needs to be shown only in details section BUT suppressed in GH 1a, 1b and 1c

GH 1a
GH 1b
GH 1c

GH 2
GH 3
GH 4
Details

Please advise on how to do:
PH a ----> needs to be shown only in details section BUT suppressed in GH 1a, 1b and 1c
PH b ---->needs to be shown only in details section BUT suppressed in GH 1a, 1b and 1c

LB helped me in a similar way in:

I am using the same logic but cannot seem to get it right.

This will take some playing around but it consists of using Section Expert and then using the correct section that you want suppressed.

Section Expert then formula box for Suppress (No Drill Down)

where you would type

DrillDownGroupLevel = 0;

at this point you would need to see if that needs to be increased to 1 or not. This formula would be used for both Page Headers.

If i use

DrillDownGroupLevel = 0; or 1 it does not help.

It is doing an all or none effect.

I want the PH a and PH b to NOT show in the GH sections BUT still show when the details section is printed.

I have to relook into the flags that LB suggested in that thread mentioned above unless there is an other way?

Try putting the {@true} formula in GH1a and the {@false} formula in GH2. Then format PHa and Phb to suppress when the flag formula = true.
