Hi

I have recently reinstalled a box with W2K. This went aswell as normal but forsome reason my graphics card ishaving a bit of a problem.

1) When you reboot I get three beeps 1 long followed by 2 short. I then haveto hit the restart button.

2) Themonitor doesnt show anything until the bott process reaches thelogin prompt. Any ideas why?

I have checked thesettings of the monitor and ther are no conflicts anywhere on the system.

Anybody have any ideas of a resolution ?

Thanks

Nev

It could be the card. It's hard to say since you can't swap anything out. Jennifer Sigman

What does changing the user name and password have to do with a bad video card? Jennifer Sigman
