we have a workgroup called "test" at our office. i installed TS on a W2K Adv Srvr machine and created TS client diskettes. I am able to connect to TS server from my LAN. however when my remote office tries to connect to the same it is asking for a Domain Name as well. We dont have a Domain. All is workgroup.

How to resolve the issue. Ports are allowed on the firewall and this third column username. password , domain name appearing.

Or Can't I install TS in a workgroup environment for remote offices to connect ??

THx for any one's help in this
regards

Does the remote office have the necessary routes setup to talk to your LAN.....

How has this been configured

normally you should be able to leave DOMAIN blank...

get hold of remote desktop Client, better than TSClient!!

and what are the user accounts you are trying to use? are they local users on your TS? and if so, are they members of TS Users group?

under what user account were the successful connections established on the client PC?
