Hi All

I've a serious problem - I'm using the following call flow to deliver calls into a hunt group

DDI>Shortcode>IVR>Extension (unc. forward)>Hunt group

I've got various TV adverts going out that the responses are coming in on 2 DDIs and the client wants the media code to show on the agents phone. I'm doing this by using the Extension.

Unfortunately these are going to a hunt group that's not the one that I want (my fault) so the question is - can I get these calls going into my hunt group WITHOUT doing a merge?

The reason I say this is everytime I merge and we've got lots of calls being answered/queued all my licenses become invalid and I need to reboot - and I've got clients on site so this isn't an option.

Is there a way of programming the transfer node to go straight into the hunt group with specific info?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

No worries - I got round the issue by using an Assisted Transfer node instead to forward to the groups.

This means I can alter the call flows in a more manageable way without needing a reboot/merge and means I can alter the information that the agent sees when answering the calls more easily.

Licences should not go invalid after a merge
if they are there is something wrong with your systems

you need to call your maintainer to get this investigated

Keep in mind with an assisted transfer it uses a VM Port until the call is answered

Merge problems well known in several software revisions

Your 412 is running very old revisons

Either have to live with your known merge problems or upgrade

Thanks for all the advice guys - I'm planning on upgrqading this year to the latest release (replacing all the DT modules and handsets) so I guess I'll live with the merge issue for awhile longer...

Thanks IPTMarcus for the advice on the VM port - I assume that as this is passing to a hunt group, once the call is queued the VM port is freed up again?
