Urgent help - 1 loopkey of 2250 is hung

hi,

out of 6 loopkeys one LPK is hung .....means it is showing black arrow but when picking it up its complete silence and in the console display 2418 2418 is being shown.

i traced 2418 and there was 1 incoming call which was keeping it busy for lonf time . i recreated that dn. also reset console by making it in nite mode and then bringing it back but now 2418 is showing idle status but the console LPK 0 is still in hung position ..........How to release this key from hung position

Either disconnect the TN then reconnect it. That should free it

or manually unplug the console then plug it back again.
If it keeps occuring have your maintainer chaeck the console, could be the power pack TNs are not connected which is important if your console is a long way from the CCU.

As its the console loop that is stuck you need to do the command on the console TN .

p.s. to find the TN for the console, if you have only 1 its easy.

i figured out the problem .....accidently the receptionist held the destination ........on using release destination key problem got resolved .....

anyway thanx bluerigsby for ur prompt support

a operator m,ade a mistake, what a surprise.. fyi.. for reference, unplugging the console might help.. or disu the console.. when your not real certain, power the switch down, take a break... lol glad you got it fixed

yup actually i had done the unplugging stuff and taking the console into night mode etc ......but actually that didnt helped then i thought might be the dest is being held busy as it was evident from the tracking of the ext 2418 (as this number was there in the display of console when the hung LPK was being picked up and also 2418 was showing busy in software for no good reason)so i used release dest key and it solved the issue .....this operator is a new lady joined with almost nill knowledge about the console but do experiments with all the keys ........anyway i think i gotto train her on this........

problem being if you get an operator trained, she'll get promoted to your boss and hire someone else for you to train..
