I am Using Crystal report 8 to design the report and to run i am using vb6 .when i try to open the subreport using .opensubreport("subreportname.rpt&quot.it gives me error say invalid subreport.am i doing anything wrong by passing the name like this.
can anyone tell me how excatly to open subreport.

Dear Darshu

If your subreport is linked to a main report, you do'nt have to explicitly open the subreport.

No my subreport is not linked to main report .it is independent.i am using crystal report object 8 library during runtime.please help

Well, make sure you are using the subreport name that displayed in the main report and NOT the "actual" sunreport name.
