URGENT!!!! Debugger shuts down when server initializes

When i try to run the debugger the server acknowleges to debug a mapping.
After one more command as the

Waiting for server to initialize...

i am getting an error like

Server execution failed, forcing shutdown of the debugger...
Debugger shutdown complete.

could you please help me tracing out the problem

Are you using an existing session or are you setting up a new one? If it's new, make sure all sources, lookups and targets have their connections defined.

I am using an existing session .
When i try to run the mapping using work flow manager,i dont encounter any problem.

I've also had this problem with Powercenter 6.2. I figure it's either a bug (we just upgraded to 7.1 and I haven't seen the problem yet) or it's some sort of firewall issue with the debugger since it runs on a different port.

Are you using yahoo IM when you have starts debugger? Yahoo IM uses same port, so log off and you should be set. Somebody told me this trick and it worked for me.
