Try changing the view in Adobe from Single Page to Continuous.

Hope it helps,
Cathy

I didn't get you. could you explain me how do I go about it
in details...

Thanks

does anybody knows any software or plug-ins or
tool which can convert pdf file to excel file ...??
then kindly let me know.

My company is ready to buy

thanks.

Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader. At the top of the Adobe window you will see File | Edit | Document | View | etc. Go to View > Continuous. That will change the way you are seeing the file and will allow you to select all. Then it is a simple copy and paste, once.

Cathy,

I did what you have described but formating is totally changed in excel. It is financial report in pdf format. It
has lot of table within data.

So is there is another way without lossing formating...

Thanks,

You could trying an OCR program such as Textbridge that will convert into an RTF and then import it into Excel.

Have you tried just printing it to Acrobat Distiller?

Just out of curiosity, can you do a copy/paste into Word? Is there a specific reason to import it into Excel? I have found that PDFs copy very well into Word and then you can edit any data there. Of course the tables in Word would then convert easily into Excel.

Just a thought,
Cathy
