urg call routing prb 1

how can i transfer calls coming into Symposium to our office abroad(in another country thru VOIP) . When i use ROUTE CALL XXXXxxxx, calls should go through my voip router. When i try this nortel is giving call rejected. why?

The number in the ROUTE CALL command is the exact way you would dial this number if you were doing it from a handset at that site?

If that is yes, is it possible you need to turn on trunk to trunk in your customer data block? Do you have another script that is doing something similar?

no similar scripts...

Interestingly if i dial from my internal DID number to this number, the ROUTE CALL command is done. But when i call from my mobile the international call routing is not happeing...

It sounds like you need to turn on trunk to trunk in your customer data block.

look at one other thing, cdb opt, cff or cfo.. you may need call forward forwarding, that would tell the switch to look at the ncos of the symposium instead of the ncos of the inbound trunk.. with cfo your looking at the ncos of the inbound trunk and that may be blocking the call.. all my inbound trunks are ncos 1, in this switch, thats a local only without an auth.. so if i allow cfxa you can forward to local, even if your ncos is 7... running cfo in the cdb lets me block cfxa to an ld target.. i use maxp 1 acd ncfw to acod plus ld for a workaround with nfrl alow tables in place

Symposiums don't have trunks or agents.....so it would be the inbound trunk.

i tries CFF CFO and etc n the RDR data. I also tried DcFW from a phantom station and EFT etc...


i have 100 did numbers, the acd-queue number is one of such did number. When peple call from outside idc translate the number to the cdn number.

But if i call from any other number ROUT Call is not happening.

check the ncos and targ/tgar of the inbound trunks that are not working as compared to the did's that are working.. if it takes an ncos 3 in your switch to make that call make sure that all inbound trunks are ncos 3
