Uploading with Dreamweaver 4 1

Have used Front Page up to now with no problem but being new to Dreamweaver I know I'm doing something wrong. Web pages are ok when on own computer but on uploading and opening all I get is folders. No mention of answers in manuals or books.

Make sure you are uploading everything, or post a URL so we can have a look! Live long and make your kids suffer..

When I uploaded my files via DW, I got the directory too. What happened is that the main file, which should be something like index.html was actually filename.html. Go into the directory on your host and rename the file to index.htm or index.html and it should work properly.
