hi,

I want to have my favicon beside the URL of my page, rather than the default internet explorer image...

I have right now put in my favicon.ico in the 'Root' directory of 'apache tomcat 4.0'. If i just type in the url the image shows up in the browser...but it doesn't seem to be picking up for my page URL... if i bookmark my page.. i just can't c my favicon... it is still the default internet explorer image....

Can somebody plzz help me... Am I missing any link....

Thanking you in advance

regards

Saiza

NO this is more a general question than a pure Java question....??? Sorry about it...but i badly need a solution as this seems to be a very simple thing..

Anyway, in IE, goto Favorites->Organize Favorites. Right click on the link in question and select properties. Go to the Web Documents tab. There you should see a Change Icon button. Just tell me if this doesn't work. However, I don't know how to do this in Java. :)
